Easter Saturday 2002 brings you the best of  Southern African music genres that have made an impact on world music. SAMA Festival is focused on promotion of musicians with African origins, promoting culture and diversity. 

We have the best of Afrojazz music from Selmor Mtukudzi the daughter of the legendary Oliver Mtukudzi. This will be a great tribute to the legendary Oliver Mtukudzi.  On the line up is the award winning best dancehall artist in Africa Winky D. Winky D and Jah Signal will bring energy and vibrancy to the event.  The legendary sungura maestro Alick Macheso dubbed the best bassist to ever grace the African continent will give scintillating performance.     Mambo Dhuterere will grace the occasion with his gospel tunes. Nox, the afrobeast and amapiano superstar will bring diversity and flavour  to the event. Last but not least Baba Harare will showcase Jit music that originates from Zimbabwe.  

The day will be eventful and is the perfect therapy for music lovers. Get your dancing shoes ready.
